This is a toolbox to help support an expanded innovation and human needs driven agenda for a better future. The focus is on how to deliver flourishing lives for all on a flourishing planet.
Publications from FL4All and its network in support of an expanded innovation agenda for a future where 8–12 billion people live flourishing lives on a flourishing planet.
Events, media and processes relevant for solutions, innovations and innovation ecosystems with the potential to deliver flourishing lives for all on a flourishing planet.
FL4ALL emerged from Mission Innovation Net-Zero Compatible Innovations Initiative (NCI) in 2025. Together with partners we identified the need for an initiative that focuses on a positive vision for the future, rather than only focusing on what we need less of. Hence, the focus is a future where 8-12 billion people live flourishing lives on a flourishing planet. The timing is also perfect with rapidly emerging solutions in areas such as AI, robotics, biotech, material science and nanotech, but probably even more important are the rapid policy innovation, business model innovation and new ideas that shape tomorrow’s policy frameworks, economic theories, tools, legal innovation and values. The latter innovations shift the Overton window and moving ideas and solutions from “unthinkable” to “popular”.
This toolbox supports an expanded innovation and human-needs-driven agenda that delivers flourishing lives for all on a flourishing planet.

The human needs required for flourishing lives for everybody. 2. The solutions/solution providers who can deliver such solutions. In addition to the traditional work to reduce emissions from current large emitters based on sectors.

With an expanded climate innovation agenda, the need to support and assess innovations and solution providers (rather than only focus on stakeholders as sources as emissions) is rapidly increasing. As the world is rapidly changing the drivers and opportunities will change. In order to meet different and changing demands this platform is user driven. It is meant as a matchmaking platform where users of assessments can communicate their needs to those developing tools and initiatives.
Mission Innovation NIC/RISE together with OECD are co-developing a tool to support policy makers explore an expanded climate innovation with the help of a full iceberg approach.
In order to deliver globally sustainable solutions that allow everyone to live flourishing lives on a regenerative planet there is a need to move beyond a focus on single products and materials to system solutions. The Innovation quadrant for 11 billion flourishing lives is a way to illustrate the need to both address climate change and land-use as well as making the system solutions cost efficient. Today too many initiatives are just trying to make fossil free versions of current products, ignoring land-use and resource efficiency as well as affordability. Using the Innovation quadrant can help you move from a narrow product/material perspective to a human need driven innovation agenda with system solutions.

To capture the opportunities in the 4th industrial revolution and deliver on what is needed to address the global challenges facing humanity the innovation ecosystem must move from the current linear model with focus on improving existing system. It is time to build a 21st century innovation system with focus on sustainable solutions that deliver on human needs in ways that are compatible with a future where 11 billion people can live flourishing lives on a regenerative planet in balance. Such a system must be able to deliver system solutions, support exponential uptake and differentiate between tools and goals.
Using neuroscience to guide a new generation of companies that want to make the world a better place. This assessment is an important part of the toolbox for globally sustainable solutions. In addition to providing guidance for key stakeholders when it comes to identifying, supporting and accelerating solutions for the 21st century it also has the potential to provide guidance for a post SDG agenda with focus on flourishing lives for all on a regenerative planet.
